From September 2010 to July 2011
Certificate
You will be awarded the ‘Birthing Wisdom Holistic
Birth Practitioner's certificate’ on satisfactory
completion of the following:
• attending all teaching sessions. If you have to
miss a session, arrangements need to be made to
catch up.
• completing the various assignments required.
• attending 2 series of childbirth education
classes in your area as a non pregnant woman.
• familiarising yourself with your local maternity
unit
• attending a minimum of 4 births (we will support
you in this and some supervision is included in the
cost of the training).
• teaching 2 series of classes under supervision.
You will then be able to advertise your services
nationwide as a fully
recognized doula and childbirth educator as well as
link up with other doulas and relevant
services/training through Doula UK
(www.doula.org.uk) and the Birthing Wisdom new Find
a Holistic Doula /childbirth educator page.
Fees
